On June 24th 2022 the Cammino Minerario di Santa Barbara Foundation in collaboration with the MINES.B partners (Le Bois du Cazier – Belgium, Mission Bassin Minier du Nord Pas de Calais – France, Comarca Andorra Sierra de Arcos – Spain, the Mercury Museum of Idrija – Slovenia and the Roman Catholic parish of Kutna Hora dedicated to Santa Barbara – Czech Republic), organized the conference entitled “The Faro Convention for concrete action in favor of the European mining heritage”, it’s in this occasion that they met personally for the first time. The event took place in the city of Iglesias in the lecture hall of the G. Asproni Mining Institute. Authorities, members of the MINES.B Federation, and a large audience of scholars, academics and enthusiasts of mining history were present.
